I originally built this site for a class project while learning Drupal. I was trained as a biologist and participated in numerous projects at the expense of my own research project. I also found that I spent a lot of time developing website ideas and software, so my life path has shifted towards doing what I can to provide internet and software applications that support science.
The initial goal of this site is to provide a place for ideas and resources for those who want to get involved with scientific endeavors but may not know where to start. To keep my vision manageable, I'll focus on things one can do online or in the New England region (where I live) and then expand from there.
I have thick skin so constructive feedback on how to improve this site are welcome.
